TILL WE MEET AGAIN ON ANOTHER SHORE by DK Linda

I understand loss; The void that a life gone leaves.
I understand the ebb and flow of life; As the tide washes new sand on the shore, other sand gets swept back into the sea— only gone from our physical grasp, but still a part of the bigger realm.
I understand that time will change how I react when I feel despair.
I, somewhat understand, how missing someone will eventually turn from a stabbing, piercing, burning ache to happier thoughts and memories.
I understand that whatever I’m feeling, in whatever way I need to feel it, is absolutely acceptable and correct — as long as I sincerely do my very best to find a ’new normal’ and make a genuine effort to live up to my full potential by being the best human being I can be- by leading by example and contributing to the world positively— thus honoring every life who touched, affected and impacted us and this world with their presence.
