Super Star by BJ Parks

She came on stronger than forty acres of garlic
Her personality was nationwide
She had the most bodacious breast
Prominently displayed
Most assuredly to take your breath away
It took me at least five minutes to realize
That she also had beautiful eyes
And a captivating smile
A couple of picnics, a clandestine rendezvous or two
A back road ride gave her the courage to say
I think I’m interested in life on the other side
I said, have you thought this through
I’m not sure the gay life is for you
She kissed me on my cheek and said
“I’ve never done this before,
 I’m a quick study
Before we’re through I’ll be a Super Star”
A moral dilemma in my mind
What kind of tangled web could this be
A monumental sea of regret or
One night in heaven I’ll never forget
I’ve been wondering where all the confident women are
Thank you Jesus for Super Stars
