SOME DAYS by Fiona Goodwin

I do life
Some days
Better than others.
I’m told
All I need is:
‘Something to do
Something to love
Something to believe in’
But when the calendar’s empty
When there’s no hand to hold
When Faith grows weak
What then?
I do anything,
almost anything to shift the mood
whatever it takes Chocolate, cake, a call on zoom
And I wait for the magic to happen…
