LIFE AS A RAINBOW FLAG By Annsofi Hjärtström

As I heal I crawl up from holes of grey-brown mud
One by one
The more I heal
The more I aim for the sky
For a colourful rainbow

I don’t want pink clouds in my life
And I don’t want a simple clearblue sky
I want a spectrum of colours
Diversity
Of experiences
Of people
Of emotions

I want my life to wave like a rainbow flag
Where red means life
And orange means healing
Where the yellow gives sunshine
And the green equals nature
Blue is for harmony and peace
And purple calls on spirituality

Adding a rip of sadness
For perspective
For balance
And for honesty

I want my life to wave like a rainbow flag
Sometimes softly
Sometimes wildly
Regardless how it is touched by the wind
I am proud of our flag
And I am proud of me
