BIG BROTHER by DK LINDA

Honouring the fourth anniversary of the passing of her big brother.
“I somewhat understand the ebb and flow of life. As the tide washes new sand upon the shore, other sand gets swept back into the sea – only gone from our physical grasp, but still a part of the bigger realm.
I suppose I get that time will change how I react when I feel despair. I can comprehend logically how missing someone will eventually turn from a stabbing, piercing, burning ache to happier thoughts and memories. Although the conversations have become one sided, I still speak to him. His presence will always, in some way, be a part of me. Like Sirius said, “The ones who love us never really leave us.”
