The attitude I have gone through life with has been half assed. Just slowly floating along on a narrow muddy creek. Taking each snag as it came along. Clearing out the most minimal path to get through. When things got complicated I veered off goals, and burnt bridges.

I would pretend to cast people out of my life with ease rather than admit any pain. I never asked anyone for help. I thought this was being strong. Pretending not to care

This morning while paying bills deliberately being neat it occurred to me. The
messy way I have lived life, and why I didn’t do things differently. The words “good enough” came to mind. No it wasn’t good enough but I did what I knew how to do. And so did you.
