WHERE DO SOFAS COME FROM? by Fiona Goodwin

I have a cream sofa
I sit in it a lot
It’s made of atoms
That gathered together
In response to an idea.
A cavewoman tired of sitting on the stony floor?
Could she have ever even conceived
Of such a thing as
A Three seater Living Spaces
Feather-filled couch
With Matching cushions?
Probably not.
But maybe she thought of a beanbag type thing made of animal skin
Filled with leaves?
The couch took longer.
I have an idea for a comfy kinder place
Inside my head and heart –
It is being created as we speak
I need to keep an eye on it
Help it on its way
Will you please be a part of that?
