If you are home alone and Facebook isn’t there,
do you make a sound?
and when you do, make a sound, but no one is there to hear it,
does it make a difference?
And when you are home alone and Facebook, instagram,
tic-toc, zoom, FaceTime, WhatsApp, aren’t there – what sound can you make?
Sometimes I ask myself that, and then I look around to see who else I can ask what sound I make,
but there is no one to ask,
so I make a sound anyway. It comes out hollow.
because if a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to hear it
maybe whether or not it makes a sound doesn’t really matter.
