I used to be a Caterpillar
Then I was a chrysalis
I don’t know how it happened everything inside me turned to liquid and I morphed
I literally became a soggy mess
Before the butterfly began to flirt
The caterpillar isn’t showing off when she says one day I’ll be able to fly
And the butterfly isn’t boasting when it says are used to be a soggy mess and before that I was a caterpillar crawling around
Generally not very attractive
It’s just what happens when we let nature take its course
