TOO CLOSE, NO MASK by Fiona Goodwin.

You don’t care about me Lululemon
And I’m not taking out on you because you’re slim
And you don’t care about me Mr Adonis
When you jog past me, two inches away and maskless.
And now I don’t care about you
It’s tit-for-tat,
Only cats and dogs can be forgiven
For things they know they shouldn’t be doing
So I’m not in love with this feeling
inside
The bitterness, the hatred when people fly by.
The sun was shining on my walk yesterday
But not inside, it turned dark and grey
I want to choose the landscape that I live in
And not be controlled by the people I’m judging
Find a way Fiona to let go of the fear
That the joggers are mean and simply don’t care.
(Because it only huts you)
