THE STELLAR IMMENSITY OF US by Beth Haist

Today is a shoring up-
a revisit
–A tumbling of sorts–
–Back to the foundation of me–

I am still sturdy
–the joists are still
strong enough
To hold my weight.

But I need to patch the barn again–
Those holes are full of stars.

She told me once–it is dangerous
Up there–Alone.
But I counter with–
“But the View is Tremendous”
