She shall arise amidst the waves
In the currents and tides she’s unswayed
She’s learnt to stand her ground
She will no longer crumble when the earth goes to swallow her up
And she got here how?
By being beaten by the Waves
Buried by the earth
By falling
By failing
By almost drowning
Over and over
Till in her brokenness
The light got in
And warmed her soul
And she surrendered to kindness
To wisdom
To hope.
Now she’s ready for deeper waters.
