I need some summer in my mind
To balance the dark and grey
I will create these views
As often as I can
I imagine the flowers
In blue, red, white, yellow and purple
Imagine them as a rainbow
On the ground
And the scents they spread
Divine
Brings harmony to my soul
I imagine the sunshine
The warmth and energy coming with it
And the light flowing into my inner world
Warming everything up
Like love of life whirling around
I imagine me and my daughter
Going to the lake
Swimming, playing, smiling
The freedom the water brings
We are filled with energy
I will imagine this
And I will remind myself
That summer always comes back
Not even a pandemic
Can take that away
I am holding on to that
Summer in my mind
Until the real one gets here
