Dawn brings a melancholy ending to my intimate gathering of friends, Darkness & Overthinking.

She interruptes Night that brought us Jasmine Tea, Cozy Blankets and Soul Touching Music.

Even though Dawn is expected, her presence still makes us feel uneasy and agitated.

Darkness is familar with this routine but she isn’t quite ready for the fun to end.

Overthinking is ready to get back to work so she brews a pot of coffee. I think she is getting paid overtime.

I sit here planning my strategy to survive the crowded thinking, the irritating noises and the unwelcome distractions that Daylight brings.

I am beginning to understand that I need to begin to set boundaries with my new friends; however, they do bring me comfort during these times of uncertainty.
