That summer
The summer memory
That warms my inner cold up
That extraordinary lovely one
Tattoed in my heart
Warm
Sunny
Happy
Joyful
Me, my daughter and brother with family
By the beach
Day after day
In the water
By the water
We caught the waves
Not as in surfing
But as in playing
We looked for and waited for
The great ones
The magic ones
Watching them coming closer and closer
Then a jump as they hit us
Laughter
Excitement
We called my daughter
”Queen of the waves”
And her younger cousin
”Princess of the waves”
Those moments in the water
We owned the world
We owned our happiness and joy
We owned our memory creation
And we did create special ones
Happy childhood memories
For her
Together
I am filled with gratitude
Of having the ability
To give this to my child
Happy childhood memories
With and without waves
