I ask every day

For the upload

Of the latest version of myself.

It requires new

Operating instructions

And a password.

And if I can’t remember the password

I can’t get into the system

And then I get slow and outmoded

Sometimes bugs and viruses take over

And just when things are about to grind to a halt

When I’m so damn uncomfortable –

That’s when I’ll finally do something.

i’ll change that phrase or word or thought

That is the gateway to the future

Of my Inner landscape.

I’ll do an upgrade

It’s might be as simple as FAITH spelt FAITH

Or HOPE

OR LOVE

Your password must be changed regularly.

It has to be unique to you and to that moment

And it’s a secret,

Don’t give it to anyone who hasn’t proved

In thought and word and deed

That they will be true to you!
