NOT KNOCKING CONTENTMENT by Fiona Goodwin

“People in the west are waiting to live “that was Billy liar,
When the kettle is boiled
I’ll sit and relax
When I’m not so tired
I’ll go for a walk
When I retire I will write a book
When the viruses over –
if it’s ever over
I’ll go back on the road
Will I be happier?

Or different?

Or changed?

Or the same
Maybe I could just curl up with a good book
