TERROR AT 3am and SUBSEQUENT SLEEP DEPRIVATION By Fiona Goodwin

A spirit came to me last night
It filled me full of fear
It lurked behind the bedroom door
It gave me such a scare
I waited till the door swung wide
Then threw my duvet from way up high.
That made absolutely no difference
The presence kept coming,
I had no chance,
So I woke myself up from this terrified trance
The evil didn’t go away
It lurked behind me still
I reached out to turn my bedside light on
But the evil just remained.
I had a brainwave
I phoned a friend in Nottingham
in the middle of England it was 11am
Natasha has a bit of an accent,
And so does her boyfriend Colin.
Their love and laughter calmed me down,
That made me realise
That evil cannot survive the love
Of friends in different time
