It’s okay By Fiona Goodwin

A voice for our age, for our time
In a body that is fragile
About to break
An expiry date much shorter than mine
And I am inspired not to complain
About anything
I am however inspired
To fall to my knees and weep and ask for gratitude and surrender that insist
‘It’s ok’ when everything else in me wants to stamp my feet
And scream.
