HOPE SEEDS by Rupert Finch

I wander lonely as a cloud

Meander to and fro

As I walk, I think aloud

I wonder with an “o”

About the furrow I have ploughed

The seeds of hope I’ll sow

Even if it’s not allowed

Will they even grow?

Would it make my sister proud

To read this on her show?

On I wander, head unbowed

Perhaps we’ll never know
