DISCOMFORT by Tina Lifford

I have taught myself not to wish for things to be different than they are. Wishful thinking is great when it is formed as a intention, and is seen as synonymous with setting goals, creating a vision for your life, or vision boarding. However, when it comes to any aspect of inner fitness, hands down, the most important starting point is to acknowledge exactly where you are, what you are experiencing, and how you feel. Therefore, I embrace these times of discomfort because they point to where we need to grow. We can’t change what we cannot see or admit. Uncomfortable times make it almost impossible to not confront what is causing the unease and once we see it we can make new decisions.
